Dark, threatening skies overtook the world. It reminded me of the first time hatred ran though my veins.

With fury burning up in my body, I ran my fingers slowly across your face, lightly tracing your jawline, already knowing what my next move would be.

As I gave you one final, twisted smile, I watched you drop to the ground. Struggling, you looked up at me, with blood filled eyes, praying for forgiveness, but I always said it was a shame you never took the time to get to know me.

Now you're laying face first in the ground before me. Broken. Oh how long I have waited for this moment.

And with my foot in the back of your neck, I'll be the last one to say "You were a second too late."
